Struggling worse then uwmad with Greyhole

Postby jbisch » Mon Mar 10, 2014 7:33 pm

Greeting all

I am also having a hard time getting Greyhole to function. I have a feeling all this root power I have has gone horribly wrong.

I will start by saying that I attempted, first, to mount smb shares from my WHS and that potentially might be the root of my problem, not really sure.

I thought things were going well with Greyhole config tonight, and I thought my only issue was I was missing the storage pool option in the setup (yes advanced is checked :p)

But now it seems the problem is much worse then that. Here is a screen cap to show what I think my problem is.

Ok, did you follow the wiki guidance? It's best if you don't do anything other than work on Greyhole. Mounting the other drives may have caused issues.

Ensure you have all the pieces in the /etc/greyhole.conf file and that greyhole is working. You can check the log file for that piece.

Thanks, I will not be able to revisit this tonight, but hopefully tomorrow night.

I will go back to the greyhole.conf file and let you know what I added.
