Not looking into the details too much, see some missing dependencies.

This would mean Amahi as it is may not be compatible with 12.04.2. We have tested with 12.04.1 and that seemed to work.

So my suggestion would be to go back to 12.04.1.

This looks like it really belongs into a bug now, with all the juicy details. When you guys have cycles, please craft a new bug with the details above well laid out. It will help!

I reloaded the server and now it's fine. Even though the disk was 12.04.1 it still has 12.04.2 on it after a sudo apt-get upgrade (kind of figured a dist-upgrade would be the only thing to upgrade it like that). At any rate, the only issue I have right now is the little bug I found a while back that prevents me from killing DHCP. The Watchdog and Startup boxes have been unchecked but it will randomly start up again. I forget how to disable it...

Interesting that this version is not due to be released until Feb 14. There is conflicting info all over the internet about when it will be released.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseSchedule

All instances of 12.04.2 appear to be an unstable daily build based on my research.

Until we have a chance to test the 12.04.2 install when it's released, best not to upgrade past 12.04.1 in my opinion.

Hey guys, sorry to bring back a post that is 14 days old, but I was wondering what the general consensus is on installing 12.04.2 vs 12.04.1 for now. I did a test install for bigfoot65 on 12.04.2 Desktop and Server but it was related to the static IP issue on server.

You can read about my findings (two of them - error message and difference between 12.04.2 and 12.04.1 that I found) here:

Thanks again for all your guys' help and development work!
