Ubuntu Amahi using Wlan0

Postby chaosdesign » Mon Jul 09, 2012 4:20 am

Hi guys

I have just installed Amahi on My portable Ubuntu install (using a External HDD to boot Ubuntu on any PC I like)

Now i have been through the WIKI and saw the page for using Wlan0 on fedora, is there a solution for Ubuntu.

I would prefer a wireless only setup so i can use my NetBook on a wireless connection anywhere i am as opposed to having to connect to a physical port on the network.

If anyone could point me in the right direction.

No, there is no documented solution for Ubuntu. It is not recommended to run Amahi on wireless as there may be performance/capability issues.

Well, I kind of NEED a solution, the computer I use runs on only wireless, and installing Amahi messed everything up.. How do I fix it?

Sorry, not sure as there is no uninstall for Amahi. You can only reinstall the OS to remove all the pieces.

You can try the wiki guidance for wireless and see if it will work.
