I changed the IP address of the server to 192.168.252.200 - I think the DHCP range is 192.168.252.100 - 192.168.252.199. Gateway is 192.168.252.1.
It didn't help - cannot connect to Lotus Notes.
BTW I've disabled the VPN server in Amahi.

When I ping the server name given while Lotus Notes is retrieving mail, the IP address returned is 9.63.10.38. I've no idea if there are other servers that I access when I use Notes.

what is this AT&T Dialer?
please send or post the following "ipconfig /all" from before you connect to Notes with the HDA up,
the same when you are connected and having issues and again when you shut down the HDA and are able to connect.

Sorry for the long delay - my workstation crashed and I had some other complications also.
AT & T dialer is the VPN client used to connect to the IBM network.
Attached are the ipconfigs before the Amahi server is booted. My Amahi server is now based on Ubuntu 12.04 - there's no change in how it affects my network.

Here are the ipconfigs after my router's DHCP server is disabled and the Amahi server is booted and is the DHCP server.

Yes, please give me other things to look at. The attachment to this post (PingD01ML393.txt) is pinging the Notes server after the Amahi server start.

Re: Cannot access Lotus Notes server while Amahi server is u
First, my apologies for the delay. I am pretty busy at work so have not been here as often as I would like.
I did look at this but not thoroughly. It will take me a day or two to get to it and another day or so to review.
I will try to answer by this weekend-ish.
I think we may want to move to IRC. These sorts of issues are easier to troubleshoot in real time.

OK - I'll install mirc on my Dell. What time zone are you in? I'm in Pacific (GMT -8).
