How do I set up partitions after express install?

Postby burton666 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 1:42 am

Hi, I am a complete newbie on linux/amahi but could anyone tell me how I am supposed to set up partitions after using the express install?
Right now I have a 1TB Hdd installed and it seems like I only have a "/" "partition". Can anyone tell me or point me to a guide of how to set the partitions upp correct?

Is the 1TB your only drive? If so, you have to set up the partitioning during the Express CD install if it's possible. If not, best to use the Full DVD install method. This method is easier for folks with little or no linux experience.

You can also use a partitioning program, such as gParted to resize partitions. It can be run as a Live CD or installed in Fedora as command line. Best to use Live CD if you want a GUI.
