Hi all!

Version 3.1 of the Amahi platform was released yesterday.

A long-awaited and exciting feature is introduced - HDA search!

This search function allows searching of files in your shares. This is a basic form of the feature as a work-in-progress release, which we expect will improve significantly in the future, including audio/video/image search, pagination, ranking for relevance and content search.

Anyone interested in contributing in this area should get in touch, as it's a rather interesting feature which is self contained and has a lot of really interesting "depth" to it, like ranking for relevance, pagination, etc..

Many thanks to Banjeed and GeraldW for providing the nice icons! ... and of course kudos for the icons to the folks at the Tango Icon Gallery!

Also included in this release are simplifications of the interface to show a link to the dashboard in all menus and to bury the wiki and calendar links.

Details below. Regards,
