Using WebApps Proxy to add access to my Zoneminder Box

Postby bbuzzard » Mon Dec 13, 2010 8:34 pm

I've been using Amahi for some time now, and it's working great. I've gotten tons of input in these forums and I've been able to solve all my issues, but I still consider myself an extreme newb.

My question:

I'm using WebApps Proxy to access my Amahi Apps with pretty good results. Now, I've built another box and installed Zoneminder (awesome app). I want to add an app (or entry) in my WebApps Proxy so that when I click on it, I am redirected to the other box (zonebox.home.com/zm). I'm capable of forwarding router ports (hda is 80) and most other stuff, but I'm a bit baffled by the steps and sequence. I don't want to break my hda.

Any input and I'd be in your debt.

I should add that I read a post where the OP was advised to create a new configuration file in /etc/httpd/conf.d. I created a file here (zonebox.conf), reloaded the service, and couldn't make it work. I decided that I wasn't going to push my luck, so I deleted it.
