for more info you can issue the following commands:
pvdisplay - overview of your current physical volumes
vgdisplay - overview of your current volume groups
lvdisplay - overview of you current logical volumes
echo '16i[q]sa[ln0=aln100%Pln100/snlbx]sbA0D2173656C7572206968616D41snlbxq' | dc
Galileo - HP Proliant ML110 G6 quad core Xeon 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 2x750GB RAID1 + 2x1TB RAID1 HDD

Hello moredruid,

My amahi server is down and completely screwed-up. I don't blame you. I didn't have anything important on it (data) anyway.

I think it is that time of the month for me to change "distro's". So i am back (for a while) to freenas. (to see what there latest release can do for me)

Thnx for all the help.../

I hope you'll get it back up and running soon.
LVM can be a beast to understand initially. It's basically an extra layer on top of your "normal" layout with some tweaks and tricks, but it can look very daunting if you see it the first time.

followed my own instructions to the letter, and I now officially have 1,75 TB of storage in the same volume
echo '16i[q]sa[ln0=aln100%Pln100/snlbx]sbA0D2173656C7572206968616D41snlbxq' | dc
