hda-install -f CODE

Postby brunksi » Mon Dec 28, 2009 8:38 am

I need to change the code for the HDA as my network settings were wrong in the control panel, in order to do those changes i created another installation.
According to this http://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=484 post, the following command will update the code

Code: Select all

hda-install -f CODE
however, i get this error when i try to make this change:

Code: Select all

[x@hda ~]$ hda-install -f CODE hda-install is deprecated. Please run the (new!) web-based amahi-installer and a web browser to install. Running amahi-installer now ... : this system is already intialized for Amahi use. (use -f to force at your own risk)
CODE replaced with the actual code.
Is there another command?

Thanks

Bruno

Yes, that is the old installer.

With Amahi 5 and Fedora 12, we have a new installer, so it should be much easier: just enter a new code in the box.

(apologies for the late response)
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
