Horde install on Amahi 5 / Fedora 12

I recently updated to Amahi 5 / Fedora 12 successfully. I installed Horde, however, when launching http://horde after the install there is no login screen. I uninstalled then reinstalled with no success. Also, installed a fresh copy of Amahi on another computer then installed Horde and received the same results. I've searched the forums to no avail. Documentation out there is very vague. Does anybody have suggestions?

Hello,

I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty with Horde. I will take a look at it tonight and see if I can find anything wrong. It may be related to the new PHP version in Fedora 12.

More to follow.

Bigfoot65,

Were you able to determine if the problem with Horde is related to the new PHP version? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

I still can't get horde to work. If this helps, I installed other PHP-based apps, such as phpMyBackup and portaNEO successfully. So I'm not sure if the problem Horde has in the new version of Amahi is PHP related. But then again I could be wrong. Can someone please assist me with the problem. Thanks!

Not sure why horde is not working for you. I just installed it and works fine for me on F12. Can you check the log at /var/logs/amahi-app-installer.log and post the info here?

That may give me a better idea of what might be wrong.

can you look in /var/hda/web-apps/horde/logs/error_log ?

share the relevant parts here ... (for a lot of text use the amahi pastebin and post a link here)

Interesting log. I noticed a lot of messages about items being deprecated. That leads me to believe that you do not have the most current f12 updates.

Do a yum update as root user in terminal. If there are updates not installed, do so. Then try installing horde again and report results here.

One other question, are you running 32 or 64 bit? I am sure we can sort this out once we have isolated the issue.

I'm running 32 bit (i686). Before installing Amahi 5, I ran the updates through the GUI but not via yum. I ran the yum update in terminal and it installed all the updates. Rebooted the server. Uninstalled then reinstalled Horde. When launching horde via the browser, I still get a blank screen -- no login... See the screen shot below:
