As always, too many problems with linux

Postby ajd » Sat Nov 28, 2009 5:54 am

Installed F10, logged in as root, got a screen full of errors, tried using the suggested command line fixes, but it had no effect.
Could not see how to add http://f10.amahi.org to the package manager.
Could not configure network seetings - would not save.

I've tried a number of linux OS's over the years, but none ever worked 100%.

Example:
Tried Fedora12, it simply would not install, nor would the latest ubuntu.

Ha Ha, installed Linux Mint7, yes but it took me about 3 hours to get the screen resolution correct.

As far as I can see, all linux OS's are crock of ****

Windows may no be perfect but it works, and is easy to use.

Amahi, well I will never know, I wish you well.

My advice, if you want a home server that works then get WHS.

Happy days

it must take effort (or really bad or really new or odd hardware) to really screw up installations of even ubuntu.

except on windows 7, it has always been harder to install windows than linux in my experience.

lol, he never *even* got to install amahi. nice troll.
