I'm expermenting with the Fedora 11/Amahi repo. I want to try to reinstall amahi. I don't want to reinstall fedora so i thought i use the hda-install command. I'll try to execute hda-install -f <yourcode>

Code: Select all

hda-install -f <yourcode> Creating verbose log file '/root/hda-install.log'. (use it for submitting support requests or bug reports). Retrieving install code ... Install code looks good. ERROR: this appears to be initialized. ... use option -f to force complete reinstall.
I'll get a error. Do i have to stop a daemon?

this looks like a bug in the installer ...

you can remove /etc/sysconfig/amahi-hda to achieve the same thing.

(sorry for the delay)

The new installer is coming along quite well from what ive seen. This should be a problem of the past. I will, when the new installer is released for testing, will test this to make sure the problem is fixed and report back to this thread.

marcel: If i happen to forget, just send me a message asking about it or hit me up in the chat.
