I have tried booting off cd removing office etc.. adding the f10.amahi.org and doing fresh install of fedora 10. Then installing the rpm to add the repo. Both ways I get errors retrieving packages.
Anyone else have similar issue?

errors from amahi.org?
i heard some people on the other side of the world (vs. USA) some times get issues resolving some DNS for the repos.
keep on trying?
or perhaps post more details ...

This is similar to
marcels post on the repos being down, should be up and running now.
Please let us know if you continue to have these problems.

not on amahi, i've actually had the baseurl line commented out before via an update or whatever in /etc/yum.repos.d/ so sometimes that's worth a check if your routing and dns is good.

I got amahi installed now.. I realized in the network config for eth0 it set onboot=no so changed that.
New issue, DNS. I am running it in runlevel 3, do not see reason for gui on machine. It points DNS toitself 192.168.1.45 which is find but a dns server from what I can tell is not running. If I manually change the resolv.conf it can resolve dns. I tried to manualy start named, and get error "undefined symbol: isc_stats_dump"

this is a known issue in upstream fedora that should have been taken care of by the installer!!
Code: Select all
yum -y update bind bind-libs bind-utils
then restart it again.
