CLOSED: Does it work on an Ubuntu VM?

I use a VM for Ubuntu 20 on my Windows setup for Linux, instead of having it installed separately. Just wanted to ask if Amahi works just fine on VMs, similar to a native install? Or would I run into complications?

It should work fine on a VM, but remember it's designed for a real system.

I run an HDA on a VM as a backup to my primary system.

I found this guide on the Wiki for installing it on a VM. Could you confirm if it's still up-to-date?

It is old, but should work.

Most of our tutorials in the wiki are provided by the community users.

Just have to adjust it to Amahi 11 vs Amahi 7 when installing.

We only officially support install on a system vs VM, but it should work.
