Hi, I´m trying to install Amahi 11 from minimal CD downloaded from wiki.amahi.org instructions.
I´ve tryed in my notebook (ore2 duo, 6 GB RAM, 120GB SSD), folowed all instructions, and procedures wore fine, no warnings.
rpm -Uvh http://f27.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm --> runned smoth
dnf -y install hda-ctl --> no problems
hda-install -i YOUR-INSTALL-CODE --> here is my problem
ERROR: the instaler cannot cces the network to retrieve your HDAs settings.....
Point is, I have network, I could ping www.google.com, and my other PC accessed 192.168.0.75:9090 from fedora.
Searching here in the forum, I tought the problem was my WiFi card, so I picked an desktop (Athlon 64 X2, 2 GB RAM, 120 SSD) and repeat the process.
Same error, and the Desk just have one network card working fine ( ping external, open fedora 9090, all ok)
only networks are:
lo 127.0.0.1
enp0s7 192.168.0.75
Any idea to solve that issue?
Thank you very much

Re: hda-install -i XXXXX Error (Installer cannot access the network)
Amahi only works with a wired connection.
Please see requirements.
Only a single wired network card can be enabled on the machine you install Amahi.
Check that you do not have a corrupted CD install image.
Does your network settings match what you entered in your HDA profile?
Also check out troubleshooting in the wiki.

Amahi only works with a wired connection.

I was using the wired connection ( cuz it´s faster ) on notebook, and my Desk only have an wired one, so, I don´t think is that the problem.
Check that you do not have a corrupted CD install image.
Ok, I will try it now.

Re: hda-install -i XXXXX Error (Installer cannot access the network)
Did you check the HDA profile on amahi.org?
The symptoms you describe suggest the profile is either incorrect or doesn’t exist.

Re: hda-install -i XXXXX Error (Installer cannot access the network)
Thanks for the info.
We are investigating now. Something appears to be amiss and we are unsure what the root cause is with Amahi installs.
Will update you when we know more.

Hi,
I think we found the issue on our side with certificate renewals.
Can you try again and report?
Thanks!

Re: hda-install -i XXXXX Error (Installer cannot access the network)
Thank you cpg for your answare! Really worked, I´ve just runned the command and it passed, but, yesterday, trying to find a solution, maybe I´ve messed up the things, so i decided to re-install from scratch, and as Bigfoot sugested, I´ve downloaded another copy of minimal install end burned other pen drive to ensure media is not the problem.
I´ll feed back as soon it finishes.
