SOLVED: Cannot install Collabtive, OpenDocMan and RainLoop; apaste error

I just installed the actual amahi version on a fresh fedora27 installation like dokumented on the Amahi page.

I also installed applications like phpMyAdmin, Ampache, Cockpit, Cockpit Extras and SMART Status, which are working fine. I added two Raid1-Arrays with Cockpit, changed some shares and now wanted to install also to applications Collabtive, OpenDocMan and RainLoop. But all the installations failed in the same way.

So I tried to upload the log with "tail -600 /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log | apaste" but I got the following error:
Uploading (21.1KiB)...
Error: Server did not return a correct JSON response

So I add the relevant lines of the log here:

Is there any idea what goes wrong?

It looks like a temporary issue with the vendor who provided the application source files (SourceForge).

I just checked the downloads for those apps and they appear to be working ok for me.

Suggest you try again, but might want to reboot the server first.

If the problem persists, we might be able to switch the source files to another download source.

I rebooted, but the problem is still there.

I used the urls in my browser and there the downloads work. On sourgeforge I can use the button "Problems with downloading?" and can get a direkt link there. Is it possible to temporary patch this link in a file on my system to get it work? Do you know in which file the installation links are stored?

Another question: Using apaste to upload the log I got the error "Error: Server did not return a correct JSON response". Is there a way to debug this? Or is it normal that this may not work? Sharing and accessing the webinterfaces of my hda is working but nevertheless may be there are some networking problems...

There is no file local where the download source URL is stored. This is all done dynamically with the Amahi interface.

This does happen sometimes, but usually if related to a firewall on the users end that's blocking access. You can also try fpaste instead of apaste.

I have changed the upload location for collabtive App and please try that again. If it works, then we know that source location is the issue. If not, then it may be something on your end relating to file mirrors with SourceForge.

Excellent! Now the installation of collabtive App was successful. I also tried to install OpenDocMan App and RainLoop App again, but they still fail. So your change was realy the cause for being able to install... So I would be happy, if you also update the upload locations for OpenDocMan and RainLoop.

Thank you for the great support!
