HDA Issue

Postby hcarsone » Sat Feb 15, 2020 2:55 am

So I have tried to install Amahi today and had issues with the had side of things. From what I read it said to disable DHCP on my modem, which I did. I am running through a range extender (if makes any difference). After disabling the DHCP everything seemed ok. Amahi server had the list of devices connected to my network and they all were working. But I still got the message about the hda and I could not access any apps which I installed on the server. I rebooted the modem and range extender and still the same issue. Everything was connected expect the hda issue. I think it is a good server and if I can find a way to solve this issue would help me out.

The message said that the hda isn’t working on my network. Today I tryed connecting direct to my modem. I disabled dhcp in my modem and the same result. After disabling dhcp i could not access anything. A good server if i could get the hda to work. Would be nice if there was an ip option. Thanks

Did you follow the instructions at Amahi Docs precisely?

Also, what install method did you utilize? The best option is the Minimal Install CD.
