Hello!
I installed Amahi 8 years ago on Fedora 21. I had also installed the Amahi-Plex app. I no longer wish to use Amahi and have upgraded to Fedora 30. I am trying to install the official Plex Media Server but I keep getting this error:
error: Failed dependencies:
plexmediaserver is obsoleted by (installed) amahi-plex-1.15.3.876-1.x86_64
However, when I list packages I do not see amahi-plex
Can someone please help me remove all traces of amahi-plex (and amahi)?
Thanks.
CLOSED: Uninstall Amahi-Plex
Re: Uninstall Amahi-Plex
Sorry, but Amahi cannot be uninstalled.
Amahi currently only supports Fedora 27, so you’re stuck with what you currently have for a server. Amahi will not work correctly with Fedora 30.
You have to start from scratch and format the drive to remove all traces of Amahi.
