Settng Up. Proper install code not set? I cant work out how or why this is showing, and I cant put in the code showing on my pc.
Any help is appreciated. Newby to freNAS and AMAHI.

Select the Amahi Server Setup option. The screen that comes next provides a place for you to enter the install code.

I recommend you use the Minimal CD install method vs Express CD. Imperative you follow the instructions precisely.

It's works best for most.

I have progressed to where I should put the code that I got from my Home Server,
however that is where it says "Proper install code not set" of course I cannot enter the code and
cant proceed further, Only Exit.
Please can you tell me where I am missing something.

Did you follow the guidance in my previous post?

Once you click on the main screen for install code, it will move to a secondary screen where you input the code.

Best if you follow my recommendation and do not use the Express CD.

But now I have lost localhost password..............
Can you help with this, I did see it somewhere but I missed it.

Recommend you check the instruction page in the wiki. It provides the user name and password.
