I can see my shares on a windows 7 machine but can not get it to show up on windows 10.
I made the changes:
sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi
sc.exe config mrxsmb20 start= disabled
I just get the error windows can not see \\hda.
Just some history. I did get it working at one point but was unable to log because of a user name issue. Due to that I backed out the changes above per the wiki. When that made things worse I reinstituted the changes above and so far can not see the hda.

Re: windows 10 shares
Recommend you try using IP address.
Code: Select all
\\ip-address

Re: windows 10 shares
Are you using the HDA for your dhcp and dns server?
If it address is not working, then there may be an issue with your network.

Hda is the dhcp and dns.
I can access the shares on my windows 7 computer.

Re: windows 10 shares
Odd. I don’t have any issues and all my clients are Windows 10.
Maybe it’s a firewall issue with Windows 10.

Re: windows 10 shares
What version of Windows 10?
Where I work, there was a complaint about Windows 10 1803 breaking Samba and people being unable to attach to Linux shares. You can find reports of this by Googling. I am running Amahi 11 with Windows 10 v.1903 - no problems here.
