I'm doing a fresh install on a Toshiba laptop with a 500GB HDD and 8GB of RAM.
I've burned the ISO to a DVD and installed from that. Everything went fine (although selecting Time Zone was an issue) and then it rebooted. Now it's stuck on "Amahi Server is being Setup" on a terminal screen. I left it for along time, about 2 hours, on the first attempt. Then I attempted to redo the installation, with the same result. The second time, I even left it overnight thinking it just needed a bunch more time. So on the third attempt, I used GParted and erased all partitions on the HDD and formatted it as NTFS. Then attempted the installation for a third time. Still stuck on the same screen.
Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Best to do minimal install CD.
DVD should only be used as a last resort.
Also, only a single wired network card is supported. If you have a wireless card installed, you will need to disable it in the BIOS.
See system requirements for details.
Ensure you follow the install instructions precisely for best results.

Re: Fresh v11 Install. Stuck on Setup
I'm sorry, I did the download of the .iso Express CD. I only used a DVD as the burn medium, out of habit.
Also, do you mean that I can't have my only network adapter as the wireless card? I thought I could only have one adapter, either wired or wireless.

I don't recommend the Express CD. Minimal CD works best.I'm sorry, I did the download of the .iso Express CD.
No, it must be wired as stated in the system requirements. Also, do you mean that I can't have my only network adapter as the wireless card?
You'll notice it says "One wired network interface. Wireless interfaces are not supported in the server itself. "
Sorry, but without a wired network interface, Amahi will not work for you.
BTW, a wireless server is not common and typically won't perform very well.
