Impossible Installation

Wanted to try Amahi. Have older desktop with AMD Athlon II 620 Quad Core & 16 gb memory, IDE boot drive & 5 SATA 3 drives. Tried quick install from DVD - 3 times and other that the first screen I never saw another that resembled the instructions. I then burned a Fedora disk with same results. Could this be a problem with the IDE drive or I have 4 of the SATA disks hardware configured to Raid 10? As a side note, I was able to install Freenas without a problem - but would rather have Amahi.

Thanks for your assistance.

Might be the RAID setup causing issues.

Also ensure you download the correct version of Fedora 27.

Might try minimal install CD method.

I disabled the raid. Downloaded Amahi-11-x86_64.iso and burned to DVD. This didn't work. then downloaded Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-27-1.6.iso and it didn't work. Both just hang after install screen with flashing cursor in upper right corner.

Thanks for the update.

Based on the troubleshooting wiki guidance, this could likely be an issue with the RAID.

Although this addresses an older Fedora version, it likely applies to newer versions as well.

The work around is not ideal. You might find a better solution searching the internet.
