first update issue with 4.1

yum remove hdactl-2.43-1.i386 solved the issue

Please do the following commands and post the output of that in your reply to me:

here ya go....

[root@hda ~]# rpm -q hdactl
hdactl-2.44-1.x86_64
[root@hda ~]# rpm -q hda-platform
hda-platform-4.1-1.noarch

don't forget the above is after after i manually removed hdactl-2.43-1.i386 after i got the initial errors

[root@hda ~]# uname -r
2.6.27.30-170.2.82.fc10.x86_64
