Upgrading from 10 to 11.. some questions please...

Currently running Amahi 10. I'm thinking of doing a clean install of Amahi 11. Here are some questions, please...

1. With a clean install I don't have to remove any apps or uninstall greyhole or anything, correct?
2. I have LOTS of videos and music on my server. Disconnecting all but the OS drive will ensure they remain correct?
3. I'm basically only running Greyhole and Plex. After a clean install, I reinstall greyhole, do the setup, install plex and i should be good to go, correct?
4. Any other instructions I need to accomplish the update?

Recommend you follow the HDA OS Migration Guide.

BTW, I presume you mean upgrade even though you are referring to a new install. An upgrade preserves data, but new install wipes the OS drive completely.

Thanks for the information. Started following the instructions. Haven't worked in Linux alot. How will i copy my configuration file that i created over to my windows machine so i can print it off. Any detailed info would be appreciated.

You can use WinSCP for Windows and get it off your server. You'll find help on the internet.
