Clean install of Amahi up and running. Across the top pf every screen is a colored bar advising me that "Your client device is probably not using your HDA for DNS yet. We recommend the following for best experience." Ironically the warning stayed there even when I temporarily switched my DNS and DHCP from my router to the HDA.
Is there a way to run to disable this warning?
CLOSED: Disable DNS warning?
Re: Disable DNS warning?
Not currently, but it has been requested (bug 2232). The message keys on using the IP address in the browser, so that's why it was still displayed. Is there a way to run to disable this warning?
For now, I am sorry to say you are stuck with it.

Re: CLOSED: Disable DNS warning?
I had the same issue, but the warning disappeared when I used http://hda instead of http://ip-address to login to the dashboard.
Re: CLOSED: Disable DNS warning?
You must be using the HDA for DNS.

Re: CLOSED: Disable DNS warning?
So I did, using HDA for both DNS and DHCP, but after all I kept this warning.
But when I used http://hda instead of http://192.168.x.x to login to the dashboard, the warning disappeared.
For me this topic can be kept closed.

Re: CLOSED: Disable DNS warning?
That is correct.
Using HDA indicates the HDA DNS is active on the network. By using the IP address, it implies the HDA DNS is not active, hence the message.
