Hi, newbie trying a new install on HP54L server (amahi), failed with windows 8 (tried with USB, kept sticking at 25% complete) so now trying Amahi.

Got the Fedore installed as per instructions on "the install guidance at http://docs.amahi.org?
States install complete, re-boot & remove DVD;

Comes up with blue recovery screen
Your PC needs to be repaired
File:\Windows\system32\winload.exe
Error code: 0xc0000001

tried this install twice with the same results, can anyone please point me in the right direction - it would be much appreciated.

This indicates you still have Windows installed. Linux does not have a BSOD.

Recommend you completely wipe the drive and partitions and then try installing Linux.
