new install IP wrong in HDA setup

Postby sdionne000 » Wed Feb 22, 2017 7:33 pm

I just finished the install on Fedora server 23(upgrade from Ubuntu). All IP should be in the 192.168.1.x. I was able to go to the HDA setup page on the proper IP but in Setup Network Setting the gateway is 10.98.10.5 . When I go to DNS Aliases they are all 10.98.10.11 except for the router 10.98.10.1. If I try to set a new alias it also only allows me 10.98.10.x. Also Amahi still shows my HDA as stopped.
I was able to install apps but I am unable to load them due to the IP inconsistency.
Assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

I presume this is a new install since there is no upgrade path from Ubuntu to Fedora 23. Did you create a new HDA profile for this install? If not, things have changed significantly since Ubuntu and would require a new HDA profile. best to not reuse the profile when moving to new #Amahi versions.

This just doesn't happen unless the HDA profile indicates this IP address or your router is handing out this range during install.

I would recommend you start over, removing the HDA profile on amahi.org and creating a new one with the intended IP address.
