Adding 2nd NIC to config

Postby elmstreet » Tue Jan 31, 2017 12:16 am

Hello Amahi specialists,

I run following config:

HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8
Fedora 25 (Server Edition) w/ Kernel 4.9.5-200.fc25.x86_64 ,x86_64
Amahi HDA Platform 9.1.1-1 / Core 7.1.0-1
Nextcloud 11.0.1 (beta)
Even though I understand that this is configuration is not optimal / supported, it does work ok.

So to my actual question:
The ProLiant Server has two NICs. Currently only NIC1 is configured. I want to add NIC2 to the config and assign a separate IP address exclusively to the Nextcloud Server. How can I do that?

Regards,

Not sure if you are aware, but Fedora 25/Amahi 10 is still in development and not officially supported. The latest official release is Fedora 23/Amahi 9.

This might break Amahi. There are some configuration files that Amahi controls and this could be one of them. Any changes made may get overwritten in time by the Amahi platform.

Sorry but we do not support 2 NICs on the server. Your best bet may be to search the internet for a solution.
