So how DO you enable PDC?

I don't see it in //hda/setup

Nor did a search on the wiki find anything. Or a search in this forum.

It is obviously obvious and I am just doing too many things at one time and missing it....

http://setup, go to Settings > turn on "Advanced Features" then go to Shares > Settings > Check the box that says PDC.

Click the plus to take you to the wiki page to continue setting it up.

OK. Got it!

I wondered why when I enabled Advance Settings, nothing seemed to be different on that screen. The changes were elsewhere!

So tomorrow, I take that new XP Pro system I built to replace the old Win2K family workhorse, and set it up on my new AMAHI domain. My home NT server has been running since '96, and it will be great to finally be able to retire it!

yeah, we should put a little brief message or something. we usually default to minimalistic mode.

there is a link to the wiki with more details so that we can tweak the meaning over time as the platform moves.

keep in mind that the PDC is a work in progress. known to have issues with Windows 7.
