Greyhole.conf permission denied

Postby wyzard » Tue Oct 04, 2016 10:22 am

upgrade from Amahi 7 to Amahi with clean install. At last step with greyhole, but can't get into greyhole.conf to modify it. When I do i get permission denied. I followed the instructions and set up my user id and elevate it. Can't log in as root as don't know password (wasn't suppose to set up according to instructions)

Any help to finish this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean here. Did you make your user an administrator when installing Fedora?

Try preceding commands with sudo. When prompted for password, enter the one for your user.

Although no necessary, if you want to set a root password, do the following:

Code: Select all

sudo su - passwd
ßîgƒσστ65
Applications Manager

My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 16GB RAM, 1TBx1+2TBx2+4TBx2
