SOLVED: Installed fine, cannot access

Postby elduder » Sun Jul 24, 2016 8:48 am

The installer appeared to complete fine. I found the new IP is correct, and I was able to SSH into it. However, I cannot get to the web interface via the IP or HDA. Site refused connection is all I get.

I port scanned it, and httpd service is not running. I attempted to start it via SSH, and received.

httpd: Syntax error on line 56 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 40 of /etc/httpd/conf.modules.d/00-base.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_http2.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_http2.so: undefined symbol: nghttp2_session_change_stream_priority

Line 56 is
Include conf.modules.d/*.conf

Line 46 of 00-base.conf is
LoadModule http2_module modules/mod_http2.so

I'm not sure why this doesn't work right out of the box. I installed it exactly as instructed to. I didn't edit these files at all.

Can you please provide the URL for:

Code: Select all

apaste --sysinfo
It should work out of the box. Likely something may not have installed correctly.

What install documentation did you follow?

Please provide the URL as requested in the previous post.

I presume you used the Fedora 23 Netinstall CD based on the instructions link you provided.

I installed it via thumb drive, using the directions of creating it with Suse Image writer. I do not have any CD/DVD writers or readers. I see what you meant now about the URL, thought you meant the documentation URL. http://paste.fedoraproject.org/394899/93869291/

Might try the following as root user:

Code: Select all

dnf update
Should reboot afterwards.

See if that cures the problem.

That worked, all is well now. Thanks for the assist.

One last question, I wanted to use this mainly as a l2tp VPN server. I see the app to do so is in beta. I guess for now I'd have to give a go to one of the manual configs like show here? https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/IPSEC/L2TP_VPN_Server Is that still valid?

Good to hear.

What app is in beta?

Will mark this as SOLVED.

Looks like its LIVE for Fedora 23.

The OS labels on the right side of the app page reflect the actual status.
