Hi,
I've been trying to obtain my install code from the control panel but I can't seem to get it to accept the correct default gateway.
According to my ipconfig check on Windows, my default gateway is 192.168.0.1; however, the default provided on the control panel is 192.168.1.1. When I try to correct this, it will not allow me to move forward to Step 2.
Could someone please offer some advice as to how I might move forward?

Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
My apologies. I just found the instructions for the non-default setup and am going to give that a try.
Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
Ok. You should be able to change the default gateway based on IP address you entered.
Has this been resolved?

Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
Thanks for the reply. But now I have a different problem. This time, I can't seem to install Amahi 9. When I type in the command as listed in the instructions, I get the following : rpm: - y: unknown option.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here?

Copy one line at a time when doing this part. There is no command in the instructions that states rpm -y.When I type in the command as listed in the instructions, I get the following : rpm: - y: unknown option.

Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
Thanks, bigfoot. That got me through the Amahi installation but after I rebooted the hda and all my devices, I still can't access http://hda or http://setup.
When I run the troubleshooter, it says my hda dns is not working for local hostnames.
And here's what I got from running the sysinfo command

Try the following:I still can't access http://hda or http://setup.
Code: Select all
hda-ctl-hup

Sorry, I 'm brand new to Linux so, just to clarify, I need to type both of those lines separately into the terminal? Thanks for your patience.
Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
No just the command: hda-ctl-hup
When executing commands, it's best to do a single line at a time, then press ENTER.
Pretty much just like you would for Windows.

Re: Amahi Control Panel Will Not Accept My Correct Default Gateway
Ok, thanks. So I entered the command and it said it was restarting the hda. Then I rebooted the server and then rebooted the device I'm using to access the web but it says http://hda is still unavailable.
