post-upgrade.. amahi didn't work as expected

Postby sgtfoo » Fri Apr 08, 2016 5:11 pm

I rescind my comment at
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6426#p36496

as 1 dnf update and a reboot later, Amahi was not showing a web ui and it was not sharing shares.

luckily I had a backup of the VM prior to upgrade, so I restored and I'm OK again.

Will try again later.

Guys, I really like Amahi, but the constant following of Fedora as it continues to change is rather excessive, no?
Why not make Amahi work under CentOS? or Debian? Then we actually get a break from all the upgrade-vs-re-install woes.

Did you by chance capture logs or the errors?

Would like to track this in a bug report if possible.

Valid points about the OS. We have discussed changing to CentOS, but nothing firm. Dont see Debian being considered.

A switch may happen some day but for now Fedora is the primary OS going forward for Amahi.
