I am trying to do my first install of Amahi.
I am installing on an old windows server, the only drive I have attached is a new SSD. Mobo is a B75, and CPU is an i3.
After I choose install, it bombs out and I get the output shown in the attached image.
I don't know where to go from here. I can't get past the first step.
I would really appreciate any help.
SOLVED: Can't install
Re: Can't install
What install guidance are you following? Are you using CD or DVD media?
Need additional details on the steps you are taking to get to this point in order to assist.

Re: Can't install
I am following the indiscretions on the site here. I have tried the CD install media as well as a usb version of the same iso.
It will load into the initial screen, and gives me the option of install, check media and install, but then whichever I chose it ends up here

Re: Can't install
Auto correct! Instructions, not indiscretions.
Re: Can't install
Please provide me the link of the instructions you are following. Also ensure you check the ISO file you are downloading to ensure it's not corrupt.
BTW, we are releasing Amahi 9 on Fedora 23, so you may want to go that route.
See http://docs.amahi.org for more info.

Re: Can't install
Ok, so I have got amahi 9 to install, interestingly I didn't do anything different than I was trying with amahi 8, but 9 worked ok.
Anyway, I am struggling with the network setup. I can connect to the HDA fine over my network, but the HDA is unable to connect to the internet. I have tried turning off DHCP on my router and a few other things that I have found on the forums/wiki.
Is there a decent guide around for setting up the networking for amahi?

Recommend you check out the Troubleshooting wiki page.
The Amahi 9 specific section might be helpful.

Re: Can't install
Ok, I have tried what I thought were the relevant things on the troubleshooting. Not having much luck.
My HDA can't see the internet. When running the network troubleshooter, I can ping the HDA and the router, but can't ping 8.8.8.8.
I have seen references to my HDA needing to be on a fixed IP. I can't find out how to make sure this is the case. Does it happen automatically at install? If not is there a reference to follow on how to do this?
What steps should I take to get my HDA connected to the internet?

Yes the fixed IP should happen automatically.I have seen references to my HDA needing to be on a fixed IP. I can't find out how to make sure this is the case. Does it happen automatically at install? If not is there a reference to follow on how to do this?
Are you using the HDA for DHCP and DNS server capabilities?

Re: Can't install
I do intend to use the HDA for DHCP and DNS, but I can't turn it off on my router as yet, as I don't get internet on the HDA.
