I get through all steps of install - on last command, yum -y install hda-ctl hda-platform hda-install YOUR-INSTALL-CODE I am getting the error below after it says

Not sure what I can do to get around this?

What install guidance are you following?

Did you execute the commands as root user and one at a time?

Also please provide the URL for the following command: We need additional info to be able to assist.

I am seeing the same error today when attempting a clean install of Fedora 21 and Amahi 8.

I followed the install instructions from the wiki (https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_ ... ll_Amahi_8) and executed these commands:
rpm -Uvh http://f21.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm
yum -y install mariadb-libs mariadb-server
yum -y install hda-ctl hda-platform

When installing had-ctl, I get this error:
Error: Package: hda-platform-8.0.0-1.x86_64 (amahi)
Requires: ruby(release) = 2.1.6
Installed: ruby-libs-2.1.7-31.fc21.x86_64 (@updates)
ruby(release) = 2.1.7

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

I have already tried "yum clean metadata" and then re-execute "yum -y install hda-ctl hda-platform".

Sorry I should have been more specific. Which Fedora 21 install guidance did you follow, CD or DVD? Please post the URL so we can be sure which one you used.

If you did not try the Full DVD install, that might be the next step.

Used the minimal (CD) install from https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_ ... 29_Install

The error occurs when running the first command install hda-ctl

I tried both the CD and DVD installs of Fedora 21. Both yielded the same dependency error when installing hda-ctl:

http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/f ... _64-21.iso

And also:

https://torrent.fedoraproject.org/torre ... 21.torrent

Just tried DVD install - same result...

I just did a test install a few days ago and did not have any issues. Wonder if something changed with the OS.

Please submit a bug report with the details so we can start diagnosing. Log in using amahi.org credentials, then select Project, Platform, then New Issue.

I too am having a installing the HDA software.

I receive the following error

It looks to me that there is dependency issue with the hda-platform.

Following the "you could try using" does nopt fix this problem.

So my HDA is down until someone finds the problem.
