Hi,
I'm having a few problems when installing Fedora 10 and the Amahi repository.
I downloaded the Fedora 10 x86_64-DVD.
When I go to install it says the anaconda 11.4.1.62 failed to start and it went to the text install.
Then it asks for your language and keyboard and then for your network information. But it does not have an option to select DHCP.
I think this is because it could not connect to the network.
If I continue on with the install and I get to the package selection it will not let me select Customize software selection.
Once Fedora is installed (startx won't work) I update yum and then I try to install using the Self-install-existing wiki page.
But if I go to the repos website (f10.amahi.org) it has a newer version of the rpm's available then the wiki page has. So do I use the newer versions?
Also should I make a user before I install amahi and install it in the user?
Would I need to do su- before downloading rpm's and install?
Also what is the best way to make a user? (I don't have the gui)
No network connection when installing Fedora 10
Re: No network connection when installing Fedora 10
well, this method will probably be fraught with issues. we don't have the manpower to support that ...

once you reboot first, you do it in the gui.
thanks for pointing out the old urls in the self-install page. the wiki is now up to date for the next little while! So do I use the newer versions?
