Hi
I've installed Amahi 8 from scratch and once it was up and running wanted to add Gnome
Following the Wiki (https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/GUI_In ... Express_CD) ended up with the system hanging after a reboot.
I did not have time to deal with the issue so have re-installed and am up and running again

Are the wiki instructions still valid forAmahi8?

No they are not valid for Amahi 8. The guidance stated this was for Amahi 7, Fedora 19 only. Never a good idea to follow something that does not state it works with Amahi 8.

We do not recommend installing any desktop with the current release. There have been reported issues with installing the Desktop and the only fix was start over from scratch.

Sorry but we cannot offer support and please understand you could break your HDA.
