I recently ran into a number of issues with my HDA which was discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5997
It was suggested I do a fresh install. I have done that and am trying to reconnect my Greyhole storage pool. However, Before I did the install, I tried to make a copy of etc/Greyhole.conf and etc/fstab, but, because of the aforementioned issues, it said there was not enough memory to copy them.
I did the fresh install on a new drive and still have the old drive. I'm guessing I would be able to access those files hooking it up as a secondary drive using a live cd. The problem though is that the whole reason I had to do a fresh install is because the configuration of the drives was really messed up.
So, I'm confused on what steps should be taken next. Should I just follow the Greyhole migration wiki using my old config files or is there a way to get all of my data back editing the new fstab and greyhole config?
New install using old greyhole pool
Re: New install using old greyhole pool
You will need to mount the drives again following the adding a second hard drive to your HDA.
Then recommend you not enable Greyhole until you complete all the steps in the reconnext existing Greyhole storage pool gudiance.
The Amahi wiki is a great source of info.
