Newbie Trouble on Install Amahi 7

A newbie in it for a new adventure .... I've inherited an old (2006) server and am trying to install the Express Amahi 7.

The server had 3 HDD drives configured with a Raid setup of some sort. I added a new SSD drive to it and moved it to the first port. I want to install the operating system on the SSD drive. I've changed Bios to boot off the DVD drive. As it boots up, I get the menu item to Install Amahi 7. I click it and it proceeds to what appears to be installing Fedora 19. Once that is complete, I get some errors that it can't find the root and can't boot. That's the end of it. A tech friend of mine suggested that I don't have the "Array Controllers" configured properly. Not sure what to do actually.

Any ideas? What Bios settings should I have regarding the Raid settings (there is PATA, SATA, SATA RAID, and a few other enable/disable choices) and boot order?

I can redo and post the error report if necessary.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Amahi looks like my ideal home server solution and I want to stick with this and get it done if possible. Quite a learning experience for a novice!

Due to the age of the hardware, you may need to install via the Amahi 7 Full DVD method.

i'm sorry to be so uninformed, but what am i supposed to do when i get to the Fedora link? (http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/public ... 19/x86_64/) there are no instructions on what links to use and how to create the dvd. i can't even get started till i install Fedora 19.
