OK... im new to linux. Im trying to install amahi on an old pc (not extremely old) but im having severall problems at the instalation.
first i downloaded de torren and try to burn it using magiciso software... first time didnt work.. the second i thought i finally could make it work, but i think im not selecting de boot file correctly. none of those dvds boot

then i downloaded via htttp burnit using magic iso and the installation process started.. but when doing the installation this error occurred:
" error populating transaction: failure: packageges/l/Libuuid-2.23.2-2.fc.x86_64.rpm from anaconda: (Errno 256) No more mirrors to try. "
i thought that maybe it has to do with corrupt iso and with the fact that im not being able to burn correctly the torrent files.
Im really a basic user with limited knowledge, and i wish some of you could help my out.

so fisrt of all... how do i correctly burn the iso from torrent? wich is the bootable file?
2nd i have no clue how to do cheksum
3rd could that error have other explanation?
4th sorry for my bad englis : ) !!

thankyou all!

Not enough details to assist. Please let us know what image you tried to download. Does your system meet the minimum requirements for Amahi?

I personally find the http download best, especially for newbies. You can find help on the internet regarding how to verify the checksum.
