Install issues

Postby drennen » Tue Aug 19, 2014 5:10 pm

I installed Amahi manually on a 32bit PC using Fedora 9. When the server starts up it prompts for "localhost login". When I go to http://hda/ from my desktop I get a "webpage not available" message. I have restarted the server and the PC on the network and there is no change. My network consists of modem, TP-Link switch, 1 PC connected to the switch, and a wireless router connected to the switch, and a printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I presume you mean Fedora 19.

The server is headless, so you are being prompted to login at the console. Did you follow the guidance at https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_7_full_DVD?

I presume you have turned off DHCP and DNS for your router. If not, you may need to access the dashboard via http://hda.amahi.net or whatever domain you set when creating the profile on amahi.org.
