I installed via express disc. THen installed gnome using the wiki instructions (need a GUI). Now it keeps getting stuck at:
[ok] Started network manager
What to do?
Thanks
SOLVED: Stuck at Started Network Manager
Re: Stuck at Started Network Manager
Following the wiki guidance is not the best option for installing a desktop. It sometimes does not work.
I am sorry to say your only recourse may to be reinstall. You can try uninstalling what you have done, but it may not work.
You should purchase the VNC app and install it. Well worth the cost and there is no manual setup other than changing the default password.

Re: Stuck at Started Network Manager
No need to be sorry: this would be my 4th reinstall of F19, so I'm used to it.
It's actually a second system custom built just for Amahi. I have been a long time user! I needed something faster (for Plex transcoding). So I bought this case and an i5.

I'll follow your suggestions. Can't wait to be up and running!

Nice rig!
Another option would be to try the USB install. It uses the Fedora 19 Live CD image and will provide a desktop by default.

I have tested it several times with success.
