cannot create static ip

when trying to create static ip i get message: is not a number

obviously i have done something wrong but as far as i know i followed the directions you suggested. i do not understand "number" message.

You have to be more specific. Did you correctly enter the MAC address?

yes correct mac address. did network scan to double check

I just had the same problem. You just need to enter the last three digits of the address you're trying to assign as static (xyz) not the full 192.168.1.xyz

That was listed in the wiki instructions. Not sure what your other problem might be. You will need to provide more details if you need assistance.

when i paste home domain in browser I get message:cannot find server at xxxxx.net. should
dhcp be enabled on router. should dhcp be enabled in settings? or any other area to troubleshoot?

Once you set the static IP address, you need to refresh the DHCP lease on your client. Are you using your router or the HDA for DHCP services?

In order to access the dashboard, you typically just enter http://hda This will vary depending on where your client get's it's DHCP lease.
