Awesome. Glad to hear the guidance worked well for you. I spent about 3 hours working on it and testing them.

I think we have a good USB install process now, so others can benefit. Also the customizations I added allows it to still be headless like the Express CD. Some like having the GUI while others prefer it headless since it uses less resources.

I hope others try and report here their results.

Yes, thank for the customizations to make it headless as well, that's exactly the reason why I ended up having to re-install, as I did a yum group remove of the Gnome Group, which got me into a lot of trouble. Thanks again for the help, I'm glad we have good documentation for USB installs.

Heheheheheh. Hate when that happens.

I am glad this method seems to work. I would prefer to have the Express CD work with USB install as well, but no luck. I have spent hours trying different things with no success.

I think this is a reliable approach and hopefully others will find it useful.
