Dashboard not loading after install

Hello,

I am having some difficulties accessing the HDA dashboard after installing Amahi.

The link on the desktop directs me to a search engine that is provided by my DNS servers--at the router level. I've tried changing the DNS servers on the machine itself, and it wasn't successful in helping.

I've tried disabling DHCP on my router and I wasn't able to get it to work with that. Admittedly, my roommates also like the router to provide DHCP functions--so I am OK with the tradeoffs--unless that is what is causing the issue.

I also tried using the non-standard router configuration and was unable to do anything.

Thank you for your reply.

I gave one of the troubleshooters a try (I believe the networking one), and the step it told me to take was to post the terminal results to the forum after the first two questions.

Might wanna check out the install troubleshooter since this is a new install.
