making additional HDAs

Postby dogzrule » Fri Mar 01, 2013 7:37 am

I have a free account which says it can have 2 HDAs but the Amahi page doesn't seem to have a link where I can add the second one while logged in. Granted I've incurred some bad karma...do I need to pay for an additional HDA? I'm just curious. It's cool if that's the case, the cost is minimal enough, I was wanting to build one in a VM and play with it there, I mean...learn how to not break a system that has Amahi on it. :?

Recommend you email support. They may be something amiss with your account.

This is an area that was abused before, so we had to limit that unless you have the first HDA running, it's not possible to configure a second one.

FYI I tried building a second HDA on Kubuntu 12.1 even tough it's not supported, just as a test and it went fine. :D

Cool. Have you tested all of the Amahi features? Many times install will work, but other parts of Amahi may not.

Good point. No, I did not. After the earlier thrash with mirrors I was only testing installation, as it had not installed previously.
