Fedora 14 to Ubuntu but reuse Greyhole drives

I'm a Linux newbie, I hope this is a simple configuration problem. My Fedora 14 system drive died. To setup a new system I chose to install Ubuntu. I disconnected all but the new system drive for the Ubuntu installation. I reconnected the three 1.5tb drives that made up the old Greyhole pool, manually edited /etc/fstab to include them, and now have them mounted and showing up in the Amahi control panel as before. In the Storage/Partitions page the three 1.5tb drives show up with 300-320 gb used as before, suggesting that my old Greyhole pool is still there and recognized by Ubuntu. However, I cannot get the shares to show any of the files. I have the share locations as "/var/hda/files/Pictures", for instance. The pool drives have mount points /hdb, /hdd, and /hde (I don't remember what they were before, but they were not this). Am I close to getting this to work or not?

Follow the guidance in the wiki.

Also the shares in Ubuntu are sentence case, versus Fedora 14. For example, pictures is Pictures now. You may need to rename them and update their path.

Thanks, that site is perfect. I had to undo what I had done to try to get the 1.5tb drives working and then followed these instructions. I now have most of the shares working perfectly, I am running the greyhole --fsck command in hopes of getting all my files back.

Hope you got all your files back. If so, please mark this topic as resolved.
