Centos 5 install
Centos 5 install
Is it possible to install Amahi on Centos? I already have a bare install of it and would rather not go through installing FC10.
Re: Centos 5 install
nope
lots of dependencies needed to make it work on centos.
i have a feeling one day we will support it, because of the life span. just not yet

Re: Centos 5 install
I am trying to install Amahi on Centos 5, by using rpmfinder.net and Centos 3rd party repository - RPMfusion and RPMforge. They do help but still needs more packages. If any one knows repository I can add or use? I got ruby-racc installed and am working the rest. I hope this helps anyone trying to do the same.
Re: Centos 5 install
Well, I was working on this the other day but didnt know where to start, I have documented what ive found in the wiki post for CentOS 5 using 5.3, if you would please document steps there, feel free to edit it.
We are currently working on getting Fedora 11 to work then I plan to go back to CentOS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
