Moving to new computer

This isn't necessarily an installation question but not necessarily not either. I'm not sure where to post it so you get it.
I've presently got an Amahi install on Ubuntu Server 12.04 x64. The hardware is a Dell Optiplex 755 with a quad core Core 2 processor (this is possibly important later). I want to move the whole shooting match to a Dell Precision T7500 running (presently) a Xeon Quad core 2.0 Ghz (e5504) processor, later upgraded to 2 of the e5504's.
I know linux has great hardware detection but is it possible to simply move the hard drives over to the new box and be done with it?
If not how can I move Amahi (including greyhole) over to the new box without losing a bunch of the settings I've done as well as the various databases that have been created like which of the 5 hard drives greyhole has stashed what on?
