Hi,
I had a amahi installed on fedora 14. Decided to change to ubuntu but
it seems that I cant get it to work. I deleted the partitions on the disk and
created new ones. I installed as per instructions, then ran
the wget and sh install-amahi. Everything "seemed" to work - rebooted and
clicked on the Amahi Dashboard - not hda - server not found.

Installed again from scratch - same result - this time aroune I saved
the /tmp/amahi-repo-setup.2165.log file to my home directory

All seemes to be ok - until some failed to fetch from http://is.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo ... libf/libh)
with the text - Size mismatch. Also "sed: can“t read /etc/init/isc-dhcp-server.conf: no such file or directory among other things.

suggestions ?

regards,
Siggi

Seems to be a connectivity problem with the repo. Only thing I can suggest is to try installing again. Where you see failures for packages to install, you my need to install them manually.

It could require running install-amahi script a second time. We have seen this in the past, but it's not been frequent.

Hi,
I fixed the problem and the server is up and running.
What I did was just to change the source list ( /etc/apt/source.list ) to point to
archive.ubuntu.com . Then did a apt-get update and "sh install-amahi"
and it worked. Something wrong or missing in the one I was using in the
ubuntu install is.archive.ubuntu.com.
